Tasmanian Environmental Solutions Pty Ltd (TES) was incorporated during 1999 following eight years of research and development by Australian military personnel, environmental health consultants, scientists and SVP Industries Pty Ltd (Australia’s largest privately owned plastics extrusion company working under ISO9002).

The Tasmanian State Government has supported TES because of the BiPu system's innovative design to improve world health standards and facilitate international emergency relief projects.

Since the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami we have supplied BIPU Flat Packed Septic Tank systems for 27,000 people in Aceh (Indonesia).
